Big news – Entries for the 2026 Edinburgh Marathon and Edinburgh Half Marathon will open on 18th April 2025. Book your place now!
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland's biggest running festival and a fantastic event for a range of abilities. Take in the sights of Edinburgh on this famously flat route alongside 40,000 other runners, and cheered on by the amazingly encouraging crowds along the way.
Marathon and Half marathon places sold out fast, so make sure that you secure your place as soon as possible!
The 2026 EMF events will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2026.
