Volunteer with Children 1st Parentline

All our Children First support line call-takers are volunteers who give up a little of their time to help others - and we are always looking for more to join them.

Children First support line volunteers listen to anyone concerned for a child, offer up to date quality information and advice on the things that matter to families and their children, through our website, helpline, and webchat facilities.

The helpline is open Monday - Friday 9am-9pm and 9am - 12 noon, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. There are a range of shift options available based in Children 1st's Edinburgh Office.

Our volunteers are trained to a high standard, supervised by experienced staff before they are asked to commit to a weekly shift in our call centre.
